Free cars have holes. Holes where you really don't want them. MR2s are notorious for rusting in the corners. And sure enough the rear trunk had some pretty massive holes.

I started by cleaning the mud off the outside of the fenders and vacuuming out the inside. I then applied aluminum duct tape to the outside to "fill" the holes. Then I got some good old fashioned expanding insulating foam. I sprayed the insides of fender well to fill in the holes. Later I'll remove the tape and put a skim coat of bondo and paint over it to seal the hole for good.

I had this 200mph wing on the car, but the wing cost more than the car is worth and would kill my budget.

So I installed an old trunk lid off a car I junked a few years back.

I removed the spoiler and filled the holes with duct tape.

The window is very cracked. I am going to start combing eBay and the NASCAR forums for a used NASCAR Car of Today Lexan front window.
